Casa de Cultura (Cultural Center)

For centuries, this construction, built in the Renaissance style, served as the Chapter House, which housed the prison on the bottom floor. Currently, this building is home to cultural activities, the School of Music and the Plenary Hall.
It is famous for its masonry facade, overlaid in the style of a Gothic palace. An example of this style is the arch at the entrance, to the left of which was the access to the old prison; in the interior, three pointed arches and a somber stone staircase are preserved.
